This explicit consent text has been prepared to obtain your explicit consent in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) regarding the processing of your personal data within the scope of examinations, assessments, and testing processes conducted via the coens.io platform operated by Brotek Teknoloji A.Ş., located at Esentepe Mah. Büyükdere Cad. No:175/7 Kat:B4 34360 Şişli/İSTANBUL (“COENSIO”).
As stated in the Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data, various personal data may be processed by COENSIO in the context of providing services, using the platform, delivering candidate analysis reports to you, and managing contractual processes. Detailed information on which personal data are processed and for what purposes can be found in the Customer Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data.
With your explicit consent, the following categories of personal data may be processed:
• Identity data: Name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, nationality, Turkish ID number, etc.
• Contact and location data: Email address, address, mobile phone number, registered electronic mail (KEP) address, address number, etc.
• Personnel data: If you are a representative of a corporate customer, department, division, duty, position, and title information.
• Special categories of personal data: If you choose to share; race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, clothing and attire, membership of associations, foundations or trade unions, biometric data, health data (e.g., disability status, blood type, personal health information, use of medical devices or prostheses, etc.), location data, etc.
• Customer transaction data: Service purchase information, contract information, billing and payment records, call center records, invoice, promissory note, cheque information, counter receipts, order and request information, etc.
• Financial data: Bank account details, tax number, receivables and payables, invoice, cheque, and promissory note information.
• Transaction security data: IP address, platform access logs, user logs, passwords and credentials, etc.
• Legal transaction data: Information contained in correspondence with judicial authorities, case file data, etc.
• Marketing data: Purchase history, survey data, cookie records, data obtained from campaign activities, etc.
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
• Establishment and performance of the contractual relationship with COENSIO,
• Execution and management of requested tests,
• Presentation of candidate analysis reports,
• Ensuring the security of the platform,
• Quality control, customer communication, understanding customer needs, increasing customer satisfaction and service quality,
• Managing bulk electronic communications,
• Conducting market analysis, sales and marketing analyses, managerial analyses, and financial planning,
• Interpreting platform usage, monitoring proper usage of services, and optimizing functionality,
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the employer customer database,
• Maintaining research and development activities,
• Enabling quick and effective access to your information during login and remembering your data to avoid re-entry during current or future visits,
• Using anonymized and aggregated test scores and demographic data for benchmarking and service improvement,
• Fulfilling legal obligations,
• Exercising rights of proof and defense in potential legal disputes,
• Protecting legitimate interests through platform improvement and optimization via cookies.
Your personal data may be transferred to:
• Domestic and international technical and infrastructure service providers (cloud computing, data hosting, IT services, etc.) to the extent necessary for service provision,
• Authorized public institutions and organizations as required by law,
• Lawyers and legal advisors for exercising rights of defense in potential legal disputes.
In case of transfer abroad, necessary safeguards will be ensured in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK.
Your personal data will be retained for the periods specified in the Customer Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data; in accordance with legal retention requirements and for the duration of the contractual relationship with COENSIO. Once the retention period expires, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
By clicking the checkbox stating “I consent to the processing of my data for the purposes specified in the Candidate Explicit Consent Text on the Processing of Personal Data.” you expressly declare your consent for your personal data to be processed by COENSIO within the scope of services provided, and, if necessary, shared with domestic and international service providers and authorized persons/institutions.
6. Your Rights
As explained in detail in the Customer Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data; pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed, to request information if they have been processed, to request correction or deletion of your personal data, to learn the third parties to whom your data have been transferred, to request compensation in case of damages arising from unlawful processing, and, where applicable under the GDPR, to request data portability or to object to processing activities.
